Traditional weekly therapy can take months to years to reach your goals. With EMDR Intensive Therapy, many clients experience meaningful relief in just one to five days.

EMDR intensive sessions offer a more accelerated therapeutic approach, enabling you to achieve significant healing in a shorter time frame compared to traditional methods.

What to Expect

Step 1: Initial Consultation
We begin with a brief phone consultation to understand your goals and determine whether an intensive is the right fit. You'll also complete intake paperwork ahead of time so we can use our time together efficiently and thoughtfully.

Step 2: Preparation & Grounding
When you arrive, we start by creating safety and stability. We'll identify your goals, strengthen grounding resources, and develop a clear plan for the intensive so you feel prepared and supported.

Step 3: Focused EMDR Processing
Once you're ready, we move into extended EMDR processing. These sessions typically include focused work in manageable segments, with breaks for rest, snacks, and integration. This structure allows us to move deeper while staying regulated and intentional. 

Step 4: Integration & Closing
We end with time to reflect, integrate your experience, and create a personalized self-care plan. You'll leave with practical tools and clarity about next steps.

Follow-Up Support
We reconnect one to two weeks later for a follow-up session to reinforce your gains, answer questions, and support continued integration.
